Week 13 “One More Step”

December 29, 2015

So the key to not going backwards is to keep moving forward.  Just one more step.  That seems so simple…yet is it?helping take one more step

Starting with my checklist of everything that must be done for the climb.  How many times did you do that today?  Did you remember this? Wait did you write down 3 things that you were grateful for?  Okay so now you caught up….but wait there is more!  So instead of looking at the whole climb, I have decided to take “one more step”.

I am not measuring the steps, instead I am just taking them.   When climbing a mountain at certain points in the climb it is more steep than at others.   So you just take another step.   Then I pause for a breath and to rub my sore muscles and remind myself of why I am climbing. My definite major purpose and my primary pivotal needs.  To leave a legacy of freedom for my children and others.  On this journey I am achieving that freedom for me as well.

“The prizes of life are at the end of each journey, not near the beginning; and it is not given to me to know how many steps are necessary in order to reach my goal.  …success hides behind the next bend in the road”.   “I persist until I succeed…I will resist the temptation to depart”.

just one more step I feel like I am behind…yet the energy within is just enough to take one more step.  It is not there to run and catch up as if I have done this climb before.  Instead I just take one more step.  Knowing that THIS climb is for me.  No one needs to approve of where I am.  Because “I AM”!

I have felt setbacks…yet I look to the guides and the others before me who are encouraging me to keep going.  We celebrate each victory, each new awareness, the beauty of our surroundings never seen quite that way before.  I am reminded “Be still and KNOW that I AM GOD” and that it is not with my own power that I am making the climb…but through His Omnipotence.

Grateful for one more step….one more step

Week 12 Desire is Love

The time and thought which most persons waste in aimless effort would accomplish wonders if properly directed with some special object in view.  In order to do this , it is necessary to center your mental force upon a specific thought and hold it there, to the exclusion of all other thoughts.  If you have ever looked through the viewfinder of a camera, you found that when the object was not in focus, the impression was indistinct and blurred, but when the proper focus was obtained the picture was clear and distinct.

This illustrates the power of concentration. Unless you can concentrate upon the object which you have in view, you will have but a hazy, indifferent, vague, indistinct and blurred outline of your ideal and the results will be in accordance with your mental picture..

You ideal must be sharp, clear-cut, definite; to have one ideal today, another tomorrow, and a third next week, means to scatter your forces and accomplish nothing; your result will be a meaningless and chaotic combination of wasted material..

There is no purpose in life that cannot be best accomplished through a scientific understanding of the creative power of thought..

Man is, because he thinks. Mans power to think is infinite, consequently his creative power is unlimited..

We know that thought is building for us the thing we think of and actually bringing it nearer, yet we find it difficult to banish fear, anxiety or discouragement, all of which are powerful thought forces, and which continually send the things we desire further away, so that it is often one step forward and two steps backward.

The only way to keep from going backward is to keep going forward. Eternal vigilance is the price of success. There are three steps, and each one is absolutely essential.  You must first have knowledge of your power; second, the courage to dare; third, the faith to do…

The Law is that thought will correlate with its object and bring forth in the material world the thing though or produced in the mental world.

The principle which gives the thought the dynamic power to correlate with its object, and therefore to master every adverse human experience, is the Law of Attraction, which is another name for Love. There is no getting away from the law of love.  It is feeling that imparts vitality to thought. Feeling is desire, and desire is love. Thought impregnated with love becomes invincible….

Master Key Week 11 – A Work in Progress

A little excited about something that happened this week.  On my DMP I had written I am committed to drinking two liters of water daily & I affirm a minimum of 3x daily 10x minimum that I am a healthy person, my A1C, labs and ultrasound are all normal.  This is of great benefit as Dr. Pareek told me on 12/5/17 visit that my ultrasound was clear.  On Tuesday, December 5th that is exactly what Dr. Pareek told me “Your ultrasound was completely clear!!”

Our exercise for this weeks sit is to focus on the quotation from the Bible, “Whatsoever things ye desire, when we pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them”,  What a powerful phrase!!  No limits!!  We can have whatever we want, providing it doesn’t take from anyone else’s good.  I started thinking about this, wow!!  You mean I can ask for $100K?  How about 200K?  How about 500K?  Do you desire it?  Do you pray for it?  Most important do you Believe you can have it?  Yes?  Then you can have it and much, much more,  remember no limits!!  Obviously money was the first thing I thought about.  Then I started to expand my thoughts.  No limits.  How about health?  I personally take insulin and medication for diabetes.   Is it possible to eventually not take any medication?  I desire it, I pray for it.  Remember Frederick Andrews from lesson 9.  “I have grown from a little, crooked, twisted cripple going about on my hands and knees, to a strong, straight, well formed man.”  With what Mr. Andrews accomplished, I certainly believe that one day my medication will be history.

How about diseases such as Cancer, Parkinson’s  and many others?  Why not?  or can we even eliminate them with our thoughts?  From this week’s reading “A very distressing situation came into my life, which could not have been the result of my thought, as I certainly never entertained any thought which could have such a result.”  We fail to remember that like attracts like in the mental world, and that the thought which we entertain brings to us certain friendships, companionships of a particular kind, and these in turn bring about conditions and environment, which in turn are responsible for the conditions of which we complain.

So if I constantly state (with enthusiasm!!):

“I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, healthy, harmonious and happy.”

What positive things are going to branch off into my life?   Unlimited happiness? OMG  wouldn’t that be amazing?

I found this very interesting

“I bargained with Life for a penny,
And Life would pay no more,
However I begged at evening
When I counted my scanty store;

For Life is just an employer,
He gives you what you ask,
But once you have set the wages,
Why, you must bear the task.

I worked for a menial's hire,
Only to learn, dismayed,
That any wage I had asked of Life,
Life would have paid.”

― Jessie B. Rittenhouse

My wish for you is that you are Whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, healthy, harmonious & happy.
Enjoy the unlimited abundance!!

Week 8, 9, 10 – Don’t look back, you are not going that way !!

Those weeks I felt more like the hamster in the video. No, not the white one, the orange little one. Going ahead with all the enthousiasm and then getting trapped for not keeping the rythm. It all started with the Press Release – a huge chalenge that I wanted to do it right and in the end I didn’t do it at all. After that, all the exercices that we have to do, dreambord, recording and even the cards were postponed.

Even though this  slow down, I had the feeling that I keep on going in this new direction. I felt my new blueprint is keep installing and the old one is becoming less transparent and more heavy in my thaughts. Those weeks I realized that this journey is for life !! It’s a life changer. Once you get to know the power inside of you, once you unleashed it, it can only go forward. I learned a lot about my strenghts and I have met my limitations and try to negociate with them in order to transform them into strentghts as well. I cannot feel other then amazed and curious like a child on Christmas eve when I think at all the treasures that are to be discovered for the rest of MKMMA.

And the pay off is already huge. So many people around me are asking what is the reason for which I am shining so much from the inside, what is going on in my life now? I keep on telling them about this cours with the excitemend of a little puppy that wants your attention. I keep telling everyone about all the fairy tail word you can create in your head and manifest in your external word. In fact, I live the love and happiness I keep receiving since september !

I am still strugling with the 7 days mental diet, there are things that need time to get clear. But I am enjoying the process. I notice faster when I am about to make a critic and I try to stop myself. I know that I will succed one day and that day “I will walk tall among the men and they will know me not, for today I am a new man with a new life”.

Week 8: The Journey Continues- Halfway There!

It is hard to believe we are half way done with the Master Key Experience (MKE). On the one hand look at how fast the time went bye. One the other hand, look at how far we have come and all that we have learned. As an example, I never would have thought about having a blog before MKE. I know you are probably saying, “yah, we guessed that.”

Although I have attempted to change my negative thoughts in the past, doing it on my own had mixed results. Coming off a stressful job experience a few years ago, I was consciously trying to remain positive during a job hunt. I would stop when I would get negative and tell myself I was wrong (I know, negative) and that things weren’t going in the wrong direction. They were going to be better. A non-response or a “thank you, but” message did not have the same impact on me as it had because I would say, “that was just the wrong job for me” and “there is something better out there for me.”

It is a bit different when one is trying to make a positive, permanent change. When things change in your situation, you can’t go back to old ways later. You don’t get to be negative because your new coworkers or associates or friends or even family members are negative.

Don’t do it to fit in. Be positive and stand out!

Speaking of which.
Diet report: I did a bit better this week. Definitely made it past Sunday, this time. Made it to Wednesday afternoon, before I hit a rough spot. Then I had several restarts before I was back on track. I guess I still have a problem with doing things I don’t want to do.

The good new is that some family members have changed their attitudes, too, without knowing it. If (when), I was thinking negatively and was around others, I would catch myself, and then apologize to those with me. I also made sure they knew I was not speaking about them. It calmed down my daughter before she had a chance to fired up. I also tried to compliment others more often, instead of criticizing. Right know this is still a conscious effort, but the goal is to be more genuine and automatic about it.

I hope you are seeing improvement as well! Don’t forget to celebrate your successes. It is easy to forget it and not reinforce the good things going on.

Are you spending any time thinking about what champions do and don’t do? I know that I don’t practice enough. I need to do more fundamentals. It took me a long time to understand what that even meant in real life.

If you have your own business and someone tell you about all the free throws Kobe Bryant would shoot after losing a game, it doesn’t translate until you can break your business down and see what you must do daily to be successful.

Did you make calls? Do you practice what to say?

Are you prospecting? Do you practice what to say and how to say it? Are you enthusiastic?

Do you practice handling objections, practice closes? Are you seeking out the champions in your business and asking them questions to help your game?

I heard this week that successful people have libraries and the rest of the people have big screen TVs. Although I did not actually cut any electrical cords this week, I also did not watch much TV at all.

I don’t know about you, but I could really relate to the time vampires and the need to stay focused. I’ll admit it. I am easily distracted. Squirrel!

I was already aware of and battling several time vampires. This week I felt more empowered in my battle and even when they grabbed ahold of me, I was better prepared for the fight. How did you do?

I really liked the idea that you can’t manage time, only manage yourself. Do you remember a show called Heroes that was on for 2-3 years. This was just before all the superheroes and mutants came on the scene. There was a character who could slow down or stop time. He was unaffected by time. Isn’t that what we have been seeking for ourselves in the past.

Look at how many calendars, planners and date timers are available at the nearest Staples store? There is a whole industry full of consultants and gurus who, for a fee, will train you, your team or your company to better use time. With that in mind, how much more exciting and freeing is it to consider that this is all a hoax and that we should instead manage ourselves. Wow! Its like the battle has gone from multiple fronts to just one foe on one front. Ok, why is it that we always turn out to be our own worst enemy? Well at least we now know who we are fighting and we are more aware of our enemies’ tactics and weaknesses.

I am also very excited to have heard a definition of success that I can actually work with. Be the best you that you can be! Outstanding! I had heard something years ago about seeking to be a peak performer. Basically striving to be your best and to do it all or most of the time. That seems to have been replaced by Take Massive Action, or 10x your efforts or copying practices of the highly successful. Isn’t it liberating to see that I only have to max out my own skills and abilities? Be the best you that you can be! Isn’t that clear? Like Popeye said, “I am what I am and that’s all that I am”. He had it all the time. Forget Rocky and Bullwinkle (although I do love them). Popeye is the man. Stay out of fights, eat your spinach and do some good out there.

Until next week, don’t just be good, be great!
Kurt Schmidt
