OUR Vices

Our Old Habits and Beliefs…

We are built to cling to life, unless that instinct is withered in us through long suffering, extreme altruism or despair, and so when we read about the deaths of other people, we are moved partly because we start imagining our own: the pain of leaving the people we love, and their confusion at our departure. Or we think of the helplessness of watching someone we love slipping beyond our reach. The notion of death is so mysterious and enormous that, in many cases, it seems easier just to lock it away, although it has a way of escaping and sneaking up on our peripheral vision. By Jenny McCartney

The Mythical Phoenix

My Image of Death is liken to the Phoenix…A story my Dad used to read to me as a child about a glorious bird who had wings of vibrant colour that could fly higher than any other bird who when died would burst into flames and be re-born out of its ashes..How magical is that?

As I grew up from a child into a kidult, I then likened the phoenix to a way of ridding oneself of anything I did not want in my life anymore, I would preform Phoenix Fire Rituals I would do this in different ways…by writing all I wanted gone on the sides of a candle then lighting the candle and burning it till it was all melted, by writing on pieces of paper all my fears, worries anything I wanted to transmute into the positive and throw them into a fire…I would then see them in my mind reforming into the positive I wanted to manifest. Then now as an adult I am able to visualize myself bursting into flames and being re-born, re-invented ready to begin a new day…I am grateful to my Dad for introducing this Wonder-filled bird into my live so young R.I.P Daddy xxx

The Death Ritual…

…how it is performed in so many different ways in different countries, below in this picture is the celebration of the ‘Day of the Dead’ in Spanish…”Día de Muertos”  It is a time when families get together at the burial sites of ancestors passed to pray, remember and celebrate their lives and to support their spiritual journey…

Death-Ritual-1

One of my favorite authors Paulo Coelho writes a whole chapter on the Death Ritual in the Pilgrimage This is one book I make sure I re-read every year

“Still, being fragile creatures, humans always try to hide from themselves the certainty that they will die. They do not see that it is death itself that motivates them to do the best things in their lives. They are afraid to step into the dark, afraid of the unknown, and their only way of conquering that fear is to ignore the fact that their days are numbered. They do not see that with an awareness of death, they would be able to be even more daring, to go much further in their daily conquests, because then they would have nothing to lose- for death itself is inevitable.”
― Paulo Coelho The Pilgrimage

“Death is our constant companion, and it is death that gives each person’s life its true meaning.”

OUR Virtues

We are our own Hero’s and we will overcome any obstacles (dragons) that get in our way to achieve what ever we want in our lives…

and then there is Og Mandino…Scroll V

“I live this day as if it is my last. And what shall I do with this last precious day which remains in my keeping? First I will seal up the container of life so that not one drop spills itself upon the sand. I will waste not a moment mourning yesterdays misfortunes, yesterdays defeats, yesterdays aches of the heart, for why should I through good after bad?….”

To finish with a song…Die trying

YES we will Die Trying because we want to ‘Live Our Dream’ and Death is just another step into that journey…

Week#16 Harmony, Kindness and Patterns

When OUR Needs are met WE are in Harmony

18-health-and-productivity-harmony

Success has a Pattern and a Price…”We have to do the things we say we are going To Do” There is an AWEsome Affirmation that we learn quiet early on in th1407388916878e #MasterKeyExperience “Do it Now” give it a go yourself and repeat this 25x 3x per day Every Day, I can guarantee that things will begin to change for you, YOU will ‘Get It Done!”

The Law Of Growth…

That which we identify this is what we multiply…Only think desirable thoughts…This is the “Law of Growth” This week#16 was all about everyone Master Minding on one Definite Major Purpose using Franklins Makeover and the word was KINDNESS…Everyone worked consciously to create Kindness in their everyday lives some of us chose to do Random Acts of Kindness and not get caught!  What did this create? OVER 8000+ shares and the overall Feeling from the experience was that people were not only giving kindness but were receiving kindness and everyday it was multiplying, people were getting excited and ‘Lives were being Changed’ all around the world everywhere you looked on social media it all seemed to be about Kindness.

Check out what MarkJ and the MKMMA Crew here on Kauai got up to along with some of the Master Key Guides from around the world…

“Actions are governed by habit…”

What will you do today that will change YOUR life? What habits are YOU willing to create? I made a CHOICE to form the habits with the tools #MasterKeyExperience which are guiding me towards my Bliss and living MY Future Self!

Week#15 ‘I am Natures Greatest Miracle’ and I am Enough!

blog5

YES!

For Week15 2014… I have decided to have a Guest blogger this is my Master Guide Luc Griffet

Luc_july_15

He lives in France with his Beautiful Wife Françoise and Family, I was most fortunate to meet them while cruising the Napali Coast here on Kauai last year for the 1st #MasterKeyExperience Live Retreat 🙂

A few days ago, a new distributor – let’s call her Barbara – shared an experience that brought me a great insight.

Here is what happened.

While leading a « 10 minute coffee » with Barbara (for non-MLMers, this is a short friendly conversation with a prospect to discover their needs and wants), her prospect – say Sophie was her name – revealed to us that she would like to retrieve a nice circle of friends and relationships in her life.

Sophie was an artist and had recently divorced from a diplomat; she felt quite alone as she didn’t want to continue gathering with her old circle of relations, because she found the conversations futile and interestless.

I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, hamonious and happy.

I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, hamonious and happy.

She also expressed her desire to strengthen her financial situation.

We had thus a perfect case for an invitation to a business opportunity presentation, a Hero’s journey in gestation!

Unfortunately, during the 45 minute meeting, Sophie was not only showing an evident lack of interest, but she also raised multiple times her eyes to heaven, in front of her increasingly embarrassed friend.

Barbara didn’t sleep that night!

She felt so guilty to have brought her friend Sophie in this « terrible experience »!

The next morning, she nearly called Sophie to apologize, but fortunately she didn’t.

She had sufficient self awareness to realize that she was « not guilty » and that the behavior of Sophie was not of her concern.

Sophie’s desire for change was just not strong enough to surmount her prejudices against « an artist doing a sales business for a living.»

When Barbara told me about her « white night » experience, she said something that hit me: « I just realized how much a minor event like this and the behavior of a single person can deeply impact my emotional, bringing me to do unwanted actions, including to ruin in an instant my dearest project in life! » (I paraphrased here).

Looking « objectively » from outside, Barbara is on a good track – a strong purpose, a clear mind, specific goals, a plan to achieve them, and people around her to support her endeavor.

On the opposite, Sophie is suffering from solitude, and is desoriented and insecure in her current life.

Sophie’s unconsciously arrogant behavior had nearly destroyed the self confidence of Barbara, at the very moment Barbara was offering her a reliable solution to her discomforts.

Can you somehow relate to Barbara’s feelings during and just after that business opportunity meeting, and during the night which followed?

What if a dearest friend or an admired person would have with us the same behavior as Sophie with Barbara?

Well, a few months ago, I found a simple and powerful way to become absolutely unshakeable, immune, invincible against such « emotional attacks »!

That way is called « I am enough. »

I am enough because I have in myself all what I need to feel good and to live a good, purposeful life : I have and I find in myself, for myself and for the others, enough love, enough confidence, enough respect, enough trust, enough persistence and enough faith.

Now that we will soon be MKMMA veterans, we know that this is not just an assumption, this is a FACT. WE ARE ENOUGH.

But everybody knows that knowledge does not apply itself, so how are we going to engrain the knowledge of this fact in the subby?

Simple!

Repeating « I am enough » enough times every day (eg. 25 or 50 times) and meditating on the insight of this affirmation will do the job sooner or later; it’s just a matter of patience and…persistence.

Feel good,

Luc

Master Key Week 11; The Payoffs Begin

THE DEBATE

For years the debate raged…but without rage.   Masterminds are so productive and powerful when there is true harmony.   The debate centered the “pay-off”

The Debate

Share the prize now or later?
Share the prize now or later?

POINT:  Promising a pay-off that would insure success in all ventures and encouraging people to develop 4 tiny habits over a 6 week period…operating as if  the “promise” of a pay-off would be believed and the “insuring” of success would sweeten the pot more than enough to entice members to engage fully, daily, in 4 tiny actions

COUNTER POINT:  Inform the members excactly what the pay-off would be and operate as if their understanding of acquiring the bigger habit of persistence would ignite even deeper engagement in the 4 little habits.

For the diligent, the treasures are just beginning… they will be coming in abundance for the faithful during upcoming progressions, [shhh..and in the 2 we are currently working into the members daily lives]

FAITH

In the end we took turns arguing both points of view.   This is a wonderful exercise with a mastermind group by the way.   The arguing of both sides of a point does lead to wonderful enlightenment while reminding one that it is “purpose over ego” – very effective, try it out sometime.

What none of us could get past was faith.   I’m not talking about the kind of faith most instructors would like…faith in the teacher.   We’re talking about having faith in the members and really understanding what they’d been reading for two months was illustration after illustration of the steps to persistence.

At the core of the decision we made to share only that there would be a pay-off but not define it was both the seed and the battleship exercises.

The Battleship:  The promise of success in all ventures.   To imagine being successful with ideas members are getting a clear mental picture of daily, with effortlessness is the battleship.   The opportunity to “think” is thereby created.   What does that mean?  It means that by focusing on being successful, knowing one would be successful before they even begin is an ideal for most of us…and looking at what we were asking members to do, daily, is, really, a pratical application of that battleship exercise.

The Seed:  The 4 tiny habits, no matter how well one engaged, have been planted.   Something to build on…something to take a hard look at…and ask, “did I do my best?”  If one looks at that without judgement, great discovery abounds.

The bigger discovery we hoped for and the years have proven this to be correct, is that

Are you all in?
Are you all in?

many members have shared they simply did not do their best daily…and while regretting it to some degree, it was correctable regarding persistence with a little back tracking but there were no longer “half-baked” efforts moving forward…no more “doing the exercises as if they were a ‘to do’ list”…they moved all-in, daily.

Was it a trick or a lesson?

Does that really matter?   No, not to us.   The second half of the course has multiple progressions and combinations….all building to extrodinary pay-offs, really extrordinary and the “discovery” of a falsehood sets, we felt, members up for bigger successes by exposing a massive lie.

The Lie?

You can’t be here and not be here.

The truth is you can be here and not be here.   Yeah, here I go again with the “whole is greater than the sum of the parts” speech.   You are in a Mastermind Alliance that has a specific “cause” …no matter how you engaged with the 4 tiny habits that develop the bigger habit of persistence, do better.   You are here, you are in this thing, you are part of something special or very special.  What makes it “very” special is you taking  everything you can by giving more than you ever imagined possible.

Give more…and you’ll get more.

You’ve already begun to develop a “habit” that less than 5% of the people on the planet, according to Hill, ever have….persistence.  Real persistence.  Not that crap the motivational speakers peddle from stage; that “don’t quit” nonsense.  You know better, I know better… hell, anyone with common sense knows better.

Authentic persistence is Aladdin's Lamp
Authentic persistence is Aladdin’s Lamp

PAY THE PRICE.  Practice persistence the rest of the way with each and every progression….we are running multiple progressions and have been for a few weeks….dig in, be persistence…especially that part about continuous action…you don’t have to think about what to do…it’s all spelled out for you each week.   The treausres that await you cannot be found, they must be earned…you’ve got the “map” but as Og points out, the “map” regardless of the detail, will not carry you over one inch of ground nor yield the treasure that is waiting for you to claim in.

We simply cannot urge you more strongly to leverage those 4 tiny habits that make up the bigger habit of persistence with the uncoming and the on going “progressions” we have built into the course.   Day-by-day improve and embrace.   When you discover, via persistence on these tasks any 10 year old can do what you are crafting for yourself you will be, as Og says, “Happier than you ever believed possible.  Matter for fact, I promise, if you’ll fully embrace this current progression as we reveal it, you will state, absolutely, that you are, in fact … happier.    And when you discover the science behind what happens in a happy brain you’ll want everyone you know and care about to have what you have…the compulsion to share this self-crafted gift will stun you and “you’ll really like you” even more.

And one more thing…the “continuous action” in the persistence formula is really driven by that buring desire Hill wrote about…that earnest deisre Haanel wrote about…more gusto with those DMP reads….more often….you’ve got so much more to give….and I promise that the pay-offs will dazzle you…and that’s not the best part.

The best part?

The best part is that the treasures will be yours!   You will have earned them with the “hard mental labor so few are willing to do”  Haanel.   And better yet, the more you give those treasures away that you earn, the more they will return to you…
